little bit about who we are.
This congregation was founded in the 1970s in its present location
on Trimmier Road in Killeen. From the beginning, church
members wanted to provide a place where people can not only
learn about the Christian faith, but also experience the presence of
the living God in a variety of creative ways.
When you participate in this congregation you will find many
activities and events common to most local churches. We worship,
study, learn, grow, enjoy Christian fellowship, and serve our
community in various ministries. But it is important for us
to keep our focus on the one who empowers us to do all those things,
Jesus Christ.
We know that we have to be deeply in love with Him,
so that we, in turn, can love as he loved.
You will find at Central, men, women, youth, and children who
are on spiritual journeys, because following the Lord
is a life-long adventure. We are trying to relate the Biblical, historic
faith to the complexities and challenges of the 21st century, because we
believe faith must be relevant to daily living.
